Woodside Energy were aiming to reduce inefficiencies through its transformation program, with a specific objective of reducing expenses related to FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) workers by transitioning plant maintenance to remote management.
Tasked with creating an internal video to spark enthusiasm and support for the upcoming changes, I began with the simple yet powerful message: ‘I’m in.’ This approach helped secure a sense of belonging among employees, making them feel integral to the ongoing transformation program even when they were not directly involved in the change.
Success of the video and its messaging exceeded expectations with it since becoming an imbedded part of the company’s continuous change management program.
